No. The bi-directional USB-C charging system is designed to provide no capacity loss, ensuring long-term performance and safe, efficient charging.

Can I use the USB-C chargers with other Greenworks batteries?

USB-C charging is only supported on new Greenworks 24V batteries with a USB-C port. All other batteries must be charged using their standard slide-in chargers.

Is it safe to leave the battery connected to the USB-C charger after it is fully charged?

Our chargers include auto shut-off protection. However, for the best performance and safety, we recommend:

Unplugging the charger when not in use
Disconnecting the battery once it is fully charged
